Sensory Bounce® Therapy is a sensory, motor and social skills program. Small group therapy sessions integrate ideal sensory equipment with occupational therapy — and endless fun! — in the dynamic environment of an indoor inflatable bounce facility.

Sensory Bounce® Therapy provides revolutionary services for children with:

Sensory Bounce® Therapy Program

Was developed in 2013 by Miriam Skydell, a pediatric OT with 30 years experience
Is currently operating in various locations on the east coast
Runs all year long
Holds weekly sessions in 1-month intervals
Sessions are led by an experienced OT or speech therapist and their assistants
Works with 1:2 adult to child ratios
Offers small group sizes of 8 to 10 children
Provides parents a separate area to meet while children are in class

Sensory Bounce® Supports the Whole Family

During each session or class, we provide a separate meeting space for parents to network, share common experiences, and gain support from each other. In some locations, a designated leader is appointed to help facilitate the group.

SENSORY BOUNCE® THERAPY WINTER AND SUMMER CAMPS

In select locations, Sensory Bounce® Therapy offers
a one-week therapeutic Winter Break Camp: December 26th – 30th, 2022 and
a one-week therapeutic Summer Camp: August 22nd – 26th

Winter and Summer Camps run from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM:

Small group sizes – 1:2 adult to child ratio (1:1 when needed)
All activities designed with maximum therapeutic value in mind for children with autism, ADHD, and any sensory, motor and/or social skills issues
Minimum one-hour guided and goal-directed Bounce session
Sensory-based crafts projects devoted to fine motor, perceptual motor, and/or handwriting skills development
Children create their own sensory-filled snack
Outdoor sensory-filled activities (location and weather permitting)
Daily theme with all activities related to the theme

Sensory Bounce has been a huge benefit to our 5 year old son. The staff is wonderful and it has improved his gross motor skills, social skills and it’s a wonderful way to get out extra energy. Thanks to BounceU for giving my child not only an amazing OT, but the wonderful opportunity to socialize and enjoy playing with other children. As a mother of a child on the spectrum, I cannot express enough how amazing it is for my child not only to receive the much needed services, but the bonus is he's able to enjoy Bounce U also, just like so many other children that aren't on the spectrum or sensory. What a genius idea and what a great experience for my Noah. Under the supervision of his OT teacher, combined with understanding professional staff who know the limits and needs of my child, he can have fun and see his friends every week, and I can feel confident he is making progress in all areas. My son really enjoyed the Sensory Bounce experience and looked forward to the program every week. The program helped him improve his social interaction skills and I noticed he would practice with me at home, so I know he really benefited from the strategies used.
